  • Update: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (First reported 12/16/16): A now-former officer’s trial for killing Sylville Smith started this week. Before charges were brought for the shooting, he was fired and charged with sexual assault after an alleged victim came forward in the wake of the shooting.
